Gunslinger feels way more fluid, their skills look cooler, and the damage uptime is FAR easier on Gunslinger than Deadeye. Also, GS is very straightforward to play.GS is one of the most expensive classes. While it is fine to play it without max gear, the absolut top tier damage comes with having everything maxed. But striker needs some several things like runes, speicality, etc. Btw i think if you feel good at striker, it is good for you to pick striker. Striker have only 2 high damage jewels so you feel good and save your money. He will strong after relic tier and 33333.

Paladin has some pretty good magical explosions with a mix of light and dark magic filling the screen.Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Fun class tho as any other in the game.Short answer: Pick what you like. there is no useless or hated class in the game. Anything you pick you will be able to play any content the game offers. No one is going to reject you in a party just because of your class. Normally people are looking for lets say a Support in their group of 3 DPS! Hope you get the point!An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.I have both and bard is way more involved. Pal can be played like a DPS class that also happens to support their allies without any input from the player whatsoever (well almost, you still want to aim Godsent Law under your friends' feet but that's more of an advanced tip). On the other hand, bard is designed to support their allies but needs ... For story, start with a dps class. It's still doable with a support but it goes through much faster if you have a dps that has large aoes or that has higher movement speed/skills.
