If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. To export still images, otherwise known as freeze frames in other software and film lingo. I should have searched for freeze frames in the manual. Got it done in Premiere, maybe more slowly.
